ശതാബ്‌ദി ആഘോഷനിറവിൽ വാരപ്പെട്ടി സർവീസ് സഹകരണ ബാങ്കിന് പുരസ്‌കാരം. 2022-2023 സാമ്പത്തിക വർഷത്തെ എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ മികച്ച സഹകരണ ബാങ്ക് ആയി വാരപ്പെട്ടി ബാങ്കിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു. 71-ാമത് അഖിലേന്ത്യാ സഹകരണ വാരാഘോഷത്തിലെ ചടങ്ങിൽ പുരസ്‌കാരം സമ്മാനിച്ചു.

വയനാട് പുനരധിവാസത്തിനായി മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയുടെ ദുരിതാശ്വാസ നിധിയിലേക്ക് വാരപ്പെട്ടി സർവീസ് സഹകരണ ബാങ്ക് അഞ്ച് ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ ചെക്ക് കൈമാറി. ബാങ്ക് ഓഡിറ്റോറിയത്തിൽ നടന്ന ചടങ്ങിൽ സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരിന് വേണ്ടി കോതമംഗലം MLA ശ്രീ.ആന്റണി ജോൺ ബാങ്ക് പ്രസിഡന്റ് A S ബാലകൃഷ്ണനിൽ നിന്നും ചെക്ക് ഏറ്റു വാങ്ങി. ചടങ്ങിൽ ബാങ്ക് സെക്രട്ടറി T R സുനിൽ, ബോർഡ്‌ മെമ്പർ മാരായ T N അശോകൻ, E M അജാസ്,M V ജോയി, ഷിബു വർക്കി, അജിത സുരേന്ദ്രൻ, ജീവനക്കാർ എന്നിവർ പങ്കെടുത്തു.

Inauguration of the Centenary Jubilee Celebration
The Varappetty Service Co-operative Bank, which was registered on July 23, 1925 (8.12.1100 M.E.) and commenced operations in the Varappetty village area, will complete 100 years on July 23, 2025 (8.12.1200 M.E.). The centenary celebrations of this society were inaugurated on September 9, 2024.
Free Medical Camp
In an era where lifestyle diseases and various other ailments are prevalent, a free medical camp was conducted on 9th september 2024. Expert doctors participated, providing examinations and distributing free medicines, benefiting many patients, including the indigent.
Children's Meeting
To attract more co-operators and children to the society, to foster a savings habit among members' children, and to promote business, the bank annually convenes a Children's Meeting for members' children, as per the Co-operative Society Registrar's circular. Educational classes are conducted during these meetings. This year, such classes were held, and an anti-drug Ottan Thullal (a traditional performing art form) was also performed

Agricultural Products and Equipment Exhibition
An exhibition showcasing agricultural products and equipment, organized under the auspices of the Bank, was held at the Varappetty Community Hall. The quality of the produce displayed by the farmers from this Panchayath was impressive. A large number of schoolchildren visited the exhibition to explore agricultural tools from ancient times. Highlights of the event included displays of gold notes, coins, and a variety of key chains from different countries, which captivated the visitors.
Mushroom Cultivation class
A specialized mushroom cultivation class was conducted to teach participants how to grow and manage mushrooms as a sustainable source of income.
Women's Self-Employment Initiative
This project was organized with the aim of empowering women through self-employment training and helping them achieve success in life.
Parking area inauguration 17 march 2025
The society is on a path of progress. With the increasing number of customers daily, the existing parking facilities for customers' and employees' vehicles were inadequate. Therefore, the society acquired land adjacent to its premises and constructed a convenient parking area there.
Grameen Market Inauguration 23 september 2025
Every Tuesday and Friday, products brought to the market are auctioned, and the profits generated are given to the farmers. The society does not take even a single rupee from this. A committee has been formed to oversee the market's operations, and bank employees have been assigned to carry out the activities. To operate this market, 10 cents of land were rented, and a shed was constructed on it as per the Registrar's instructions, from where the operations are conducted.
